Why auditability has to be built in
When AI systems take part in real decisions, organisations need to answer two questions at any time: why did the system do this, and what did it know when it did? Retrofitting those answers is expensive and incomplete.
The temporal record
flostate records every input, intermediate step, source and output against a timeline. Any answer can be replayed with the knowledge that existed at that moment, and compared with how it would be answered today.
Compliance without friction
Because the record is a by-product of normal operation, teams do not pay for it with extra process. Reviewers get a complete trail; everyone else just gets their work done.
